(군산=연합뉴스) 정경재 기자 = 노동조합 차별 철폐를 요구하며 민주노총 소속 노동자 3명이 고공농성 중인 전북 군산 발전소 건설 현장에서양대 노조 조합원 간 물리적 충돌이 발생했다.

10일 군산경찰서 등에 따르면 이날 오전 8시께 군산시 비응도동 발전소 건설 현장에서 한국노총 소속 노동자 3명이 위에서 날아든 볼트와 너트에 맞았다.

이들 노동자는 병원으로 옮겨졌으며, 크게 다치지는 않은 것으로 알려졌다.

당시 이 노동자들은 전날 무너진 안전시설을 보수하는 작업을 하다가 고공 농성장 주변에서 날아든 건설 자재에 맞은 것으로 전해졌다.

경찰 관계자는 "다친 조합원들은 생명에는 지장이 없는 상태"라면서 "목격자 등을 상대로 경위를 조사하고 있다"고 밝혔다.

군산 발전소 건설 현장은 민주노총 전국플랜트건설노조 조합원 3명이 지난달 18일부터 노조 차별 철폐를 주장하며 20ｍ 높이에서 농성을 벌이는 곳이다.

민주노총 조합원들은 건설사 측이 한국노총 조합원에게만 일감을 주고 용역을 고용해 현장 출입을 가로막고 있다고 주장하고 있다.

민주노총 측은 건설자재를 던진 것을 인정하면서도 한국노총 측에서 먼저 도발해 빚어진 일이라고 강조했다.

민주노총 관계자는 "용역들이 아침부터 농성장에 쇠파이프를 들고 무단 침입해 이를 방어하는 과정에서 자재를 던진 것"이라며 "높은 곳에서 끝까지 밀려나다 보니 '더 다가오지 말라'는 의도였다"고 설명했다.

그러면서 "이번 사안의 본질은 건설사 측의 노조 탄압"이라며 "민주노총을 탄압하는 사용자 측을 규탄하기 위해 고공농성에 나선 노동자의 심정을 이해해 달라"고 덧붙였다.
